Shadowhunters: Canceled by Freeform! Cast, Crew React!

Shadowhunters has been canceled after three seasons by Freeform. 

The news was shocking, and even the cast was stunned by the network pulling the plug so early into the show's run.

1. Katherine McNamara

Series star Katherine McNamara shared the above statement alongside the following caption: "Hail and farewell, Angels." She subsequently shared a GIF and urged her followers to save the series.

2. Dominic Sherwood

"All good things come to an end," Sherwood said as he took to Twitter.

"It has been my privelidge to be a part of this world. @ShadowhuntersTV team have been so close to my heart for 3 years."

"You. The fans. Make us happy and strong and proud. Thank you. For everything. We say goodbye with a heavy heart but our heads held high. We love you. Forever and always. Xx"

3. Emeraude Toubia

"We love you all!! Thank you," Toubia said as she shared a picture showing that "#SaveShadowhunters" was trending.

4. Matthew Daddario

"It has been an absolutely wonderful experience getting to be part of Shadowhunters for the past three years," the actor shared.

"After all of it, I hope I have fulfilled my promise of being the best Alec Lightwood you could ask for. Look out for the great work this crew will be doing out of support. I can't thank you enough for the ride."

5. Alisha Wainwright

"I couldn’t agree more @DSwim!," said the actress.

"We still have 10 eps to air and a series finale special to come for you guys. I can’t thank you enough for this journey."

"The creative team, cast, crew, the wonderful fans and the beautiful city of Toronto have changed my life."

6. Darren Swimmer

Co-showrunner Darren Swimmer said the following: "We are sad to see Shadowhunters come to an end. If it's any solace to the fans, the episodes to come are truly some of the best of the series. Thank you for all the support."
