Shameless may be entering Season 9, but that's not to say the show is running out of storylines.
If anything, the series is one of the most resilient around, and that's thanks to the expansive cast who get a whole lot to work with.
In any case, it's great to have confirmation that Shameless is returning to Showtime this year.
The premium cable network has released a brand new video that shows us some of our favorite characters, as well as some commentary from the actors.
The premiere date is Sunday, September 9, and it will continue to air in the 9/8c slot.
That means we'll be getting caught up with the Gallaghers and their friends a whole two months earlier this time around.
We already know that Isidora Goreshter aka Svetlana will not appear in Season 8. Aside from that, the rest of the cast is expected to return.
What schemes will Frank come up with this year? We have no clue, but the powers that be will surely surprise us.
