The 100: 47 Times We 'Shipped Bellamy and Clarke

It's no secret that fans of The 100 have been waiting for Bellamy Blake and Clarke Griffin to get together for years now.

While both of them have had other love interests throughout the course of the show, if you watch The 100 online, you know the two have always had a special bond and partnership that is unique to any of the other relationships in the series.

The romantic undertones in their friendship are tricky to navigate which is right where the writers want their viewers.

They have specific scenes that are purposely placed in the narrative to make people root for the two to get together, but they don't fully commit to a romance leaving the "will they or won't they," mystery alive and kicking.

Without a blatant romantic confession from either character the show could easily write them off as friends, yet also put them together romantically and have it make perfect sense. From what we've seen so far, it looks like the time has come for them to finally commit to one or the other. 

With The 100 Season 5 currently airing and the hopes of a new type of relationship between the two coming to fruition, here are 47 times we shipped Bellamy and Clarke. 

 

1. Bellamy realizes he misjudged Clarke on "Earth Kills"

For me, this was the moment that started it all. Bellamy made it clear earlier in the episode that he believes Clarke doesn't have the guts to make the hard choices. However, he is proved wrong when Clarke takes the burden off his shoulders and kills Atom to put him out of his misery.

2. Bellamy's heartbreaking confession on "Hakeldama"

Bellamy and Clarke have been separated quite a few times throughout the course of the show, but Bellamy makes it clear that he feels like Clarke left him when he needed her the most.

3. Clarke lets Bellamy know she's with him on "Fog of War"

Prepared to defy her mom, Clarke tells Bellamy that if he goes to Mount Weather she's going with him. If they're going to save their people, they're going to do it together.

4. "Princess" makes a comeback on "Echoes"

In a nice callback from the Season 1 days, Bellamy resorts to his old nickname for Clarke making Bellarke fans cheer across the nation. Now we just need an "I love you princess," in the Season 5 finale and we'll be all set.

5. Clarke proclaims her faith in Bellamy on "Survival of the Fittest"

If anyone believes in Bellamy Blake it's Clarke Griffin. Despite Lexa's hesitation, Clarke assures her that Bellamy will make it into Mount Weather and disable the acid fog. It's quite a task to put all on one man, but it's clear that Clarke's faith in him is unconditional.

6. Intellectual flirting on "I Am Become Death"

When Clarke tries to explain who Oppenheimer is and Bellamy states that he already knows, the little smile the two share is absolutely adorable. As usual, the two manage to find just a second of normality amidst the chaos surrounding them.
