Stephanie Niznik, an actress who is best known for her role on Everwood, has died.
She was 52 years old.
A cause of death has not been revealed, but it is reported that she passed away unexpectedly in Encino, California on June 23.
Niznik played the role of Nina Feeney, a neighbor of the Brown family on all four season of WB drama Everwood.
The character also dated Scott Wolf's Dr. Jake in a storyline for the series.
She recently returned for the show's 15th anniversary panel at the Television Critics Assocation's summer press tour back in 2017.
Beyond that, she also had appearances on Star Trek: Enterprise, Diagnosis Murder, Dr. Quinn, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Life is Wild, and Lost.
Niznik was a native of Bangor, Maine.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, brother and sister-law, her niece and nephews, aunt and uncle, and her dogs, Nucleus and Jake.
Stephanie was very active in volunteering for hunger, children, and animal rescue organizations.
