Remember the long-in-the-works Heathers reboot that has been delayed by Paramount Network?
Well, it's not going to see the light of day ... at least on any of the Viacom owned networks, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The comedy series was set to debut earlier this year but was delayed following a school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Despite no new premiere date being confirmed, it was expected to debut at some point in 2018.
"This is a high school show, we're blowing up the school, there are guns in the school, it's a satire and there are moments of teachers having guns. It's hitting on so many hot topics," said Keith Cox, Paramount Network to THR about the decision.

"This company can't be speaking out of both sides of its mouth, saying the youth movement is important for us and we've done all these wonderful things to support that and at the same time, we're putting on a show that we're not comfortable with," he continued.
"The combination of a high school show with these very dark moments didn't feel right."
While the show may not be airing on Paramount Network, there is still hope. All episodes of Season 1 have been completed for quite some time.
