There's no doubt that characters can have as many flings or relationships as they want.
But when a character has a large amount of serious love interests in such a short amount of time, keeping up with their love life starts to get a bit exhausting.

There comes a time when they need to take a break from their search for romance, and start doing some soul searching instead.
We created a slideshow below of 19 characters who had too many love interests!
1. Archie Andrews - Riverdale
It's hard to believe that Riverdale's first season was only 13 episodes, considering that Archie had five different love interests throughout it. We get that the Archie/Betty/Veronica love triangle had to be a thing, but did they have to throw his teacher, Cheryl, and Valerie in there at the same time?
2. Callie Foster - The Fosters
The real question is, who didn't Callie date? Callie is, of course, at liberty to be with whoever she pleases, but things were getting excessive on The Fosters. She constantly played with everyone's heart and bounced from one person to the next in no time at all.
3. Lexie Grey - Grey's Anatomy
Lexie somehow ended up in relationships with all three of Grey's Anatomy's most eligible bachelors. Mark, Jackson, and Alex all dated her at one point or another, even though Sloan was the only person she ever had chemistry with.
4. Hakeem Lyon - Empire
Hakeem has a baby with his dad's ex-wife and spent a lot of time in on and off relationships. It was hard to focus on his storyline when there was so much romantic drama in the way.
5. Simon Lewis - Shadowhunters
It took Simon far too long to realize that his soulmate had always been right in front of him. It's easy to forget that Simon was dating his bandmate until he confessed his love for Clary and ended up in a serious relationship with his best friend. After that ended, he quickly entered into a relationship with Maia, which lasted for quite some time. Meanwhile, we were all just waiting for Sizzy to happen.
6. Oliver Queen - Arrow
Because of how devoted Oliver and Felicity are to each other, it's easy to forget that they weren't together during the first couple seasons of Arrow. Oliver had serious relationships with Laurel, her sister Sara, Shado (through flashbacks), Helena, and McKenna all over the span of two seasons. Not to mention that the show was also building up his romance with Felicity through that time period.
